In September 2012, ECLA entered into a cooperation agreement with DeHeng Law Offices, whereby Frank Fine became the firm’s first foreign antitrust law advisor. He now leads the firm’s international antitrust and data privacy practice. Mr. Fine has advised DeHeng and its clients on a number of European antitrust and data protection matters.

ECLA assists Chinese law firms and clients seeking to understand and navigate antitrust and data privacy regulations in foreign jurisdictions and, in particular, the EU. Conversely, ECLA works with Western companies encountering antitrust and data privacy issues in China. In each instance, due to ECLA’s understanding of the commercial, regulatory and political landscape in the EU and China, the firm is well situated to find creative solutions to complex problems.
